  • Seseragi no Sato Museum

    A museum built using materials taken from a 150 year old Okutama house. Works by artists connected to the area are on display.

  • Hatonosu Valley

    Huge rock formations line the Tama River. The flow of the river as it hits the rocks is compelling. Hatonosu Valley has been selected as one of the 30 most beautiful views along the Tama River.

  • Hyakuhiro no Taki Waterfall

    A famous waterfall in the Okutama mountain range in Kawanoriyama. It is located in the upper reaches of the Kawanori Valley that flows to the Nippara River. The impressive waterfall is a mountain trail healing spot.

  • Mt. Kumotori

    The highest point in Tokyo at an altitude of over 2000 meters. Mt. Kumotori was selected as one of the 100 Famous Japanese Mountains and offers superb views from its summit located at 2017.09 meters.

  • Okutama Mukashimichi (old-time) Trail

    Walk along the old Ome Kaido, a 10 kilometer path between Okutama Station and Lake Okutama. The remnants of an inn town remain along the highway and are the stage of old tales.
